In Japan, we celebrate a girl's day on the 3rd of March with display of Japanese Hina dolls since Edo Period. In March 2006, Yuga had a small exhibition of Japanese ceramic standing dolls by Tomiko Ishikawa who is living in Shizuoka prefecture in Japan.
